2. No tracking, no cookies
This website deliberately uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no tracking services. No usage profiles are created and no data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, in a data center in Falkenstein (Germany). When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, user agent) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are deleted after no more than 14 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
4. Free AI readiness audit
If you use the audit form, we process:
- the domain you provide,
- your email address.
Purpose: performing the audit and delivering the result by email. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures taken at your request). We base the evaluation of audit results to improve our service on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention period: we delete your email address and the domain no later than 6 months after the audit, unless you take out a paid subscription.
Confirmation procedure (double opt-in): after submitting the form, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after your confirmation do we perform the audit and send you the report. This ensures that no one enters your email address without your knowledge. As proof of confirmation, we store its time and the IP address used (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).
Marketing emails only with consent: we send you tips and information on AI visibility only if you have actively ticked the corresponding checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We store the time of consent for documentation purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time; each of these emails contains an unsubscribe link, or an informal email to us is sufficient. Without consent, you receive only the confirmation email and the requested report.
5. Paid plans
If you take out a subscription, we process the contract data required for it (email, domain, booked plan) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Payment processing via Stripe
Payment processing is handled by the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Stripe"). During checkout (Stripe Checkout) and subscription management (Stripe Billing Portal), you transmit your payment data (e.g. credit card number, IBAN) directly to Stripe; your name and email address are also transmitted to Stripe. Payment data is not stored on our servers; we store only references (e.g. Stripe customer and subscription identifiers) and invoice metadata. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Stripe may transfer data to its parent company Stripe, Inc. in the USA. Stripe bases such transfers on EU standard contractual clauses; Stripe, Inc. is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information can be found in Stripe's privacy policy: https://stripe.com/de/privacy.
6. Email contact
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights vis-a-vis us regarding your personal data:
- access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).
An informal email to the address stated above is sufficient to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for Bavaria: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
8. Obligation to provide data
Providing the domain and email address is required for the free audit; without this information, we cannot deliver the result. There is no statutory obligation to provide this data.
9. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making with legal effect within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. The audit score evaluates websites, not persons.
